"My wife and I were looking for our ideal first home. Unfortunately, everything in the Murphy, NC area was either a log cabin (which we didn't want), or out of our price range. We had an idea of what we wanted, so we decided to build. Unfortunately again, the process fell through. Then we found Robin Sargent and Janine Seibert at Olde Town Brokers. Within literally a few days, they had found a home based on our wishes that matched EXACTLY what we were looking for. They were able to negotiate the price so it fit into our price range. We have been living in our new home for a few months now and couldn't be happier with our experience. Janine and Robin call us to check in every now and again so our satisfaction level from an experience, service, and knowledge standpoint far exceeded our expectations. "Old Town Brokers is truly an unusual firm. My experience buying a property with the help of Robin Sargent would never have unfolded as it did with another realtor, and I likely would not be about to close on a lakefront property that is what I have always dreamed of but thought I could never have. First, the entire group immediately treated me like I mattered, even though I was not a high-end buyer. Both Robin and Jeremiah seemed like old friends as soon as I met them. Robin is no khaki-pants-and-tie realtor - he was ready with boots on to take me on a two-day tour of all of the homes on my list, no matter how far apart they were! He climbed hills with me, scrabbled through mud, and happily walked into fixer-uppers that other agents would have been loathe to enter. And, he actually enjoys exploring new places and properties - his enthusiasm for Western North Carolina is contagious! "Robin and Janine are the ultimate real estate professionals! I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking to buy or sell a home in the Western North Carolina Mountains. We purchased a home on Lake Nantahala and the very best of experiences buying a home with them as our guide. They went above and beyond the time most realtors would spend when showing potential buyers homes. We were commuting from Atlanta on weekends to see homes for sale. They knew we had limited viewing time and spent whole days showing us houses. Robin and Janine even worked from home to find new listings in our price range while we were there. They were constantly in touch with us by phone or text and worked well with other realtors in the area.
